Signature Etiquette

Hi

I have just signed up to the forum and before I pot anything I thought I'd just find out what your signature etiquette is. I see a lot of people putting a lot of spammy stuff in their signature like more than one keyword link to their homepage, banners etc. So I was jut wanting to get the low down to make sure I don't offend any of the users or owners of this forum.
